Family workshop

In collaboration with Mia Koch from Mias kostymelager

15. Feb 2025 KL. 11:30 - 14:30

Welcome to our family workshop, where we will create costumes inspired by the exhibition Moko Moko Club. Just like the dogs Arty, Poofy, and Max, the costumes will have faces, which the children will design themselves. Cute, funny, scary, and playful faces.

The costumes are handmade, cut from circular shapes. Hats with faces, capes with hoods and faces, sweaters with faces, and masks with faces. The workshop encourages collaboration and is suitable for the whole family.

The family workshop is led by costume designer Mia Koch. Mia was part of the team that produced the dogs Arty, Poofy, and Max in Moko Moko Club. She has extensive experience in designing and producing costumes for performing arts, film, events, and museums. She is a trained costume designer from the Oslo National Academy of the Arts and has also completed pedagogical training. She has taught textile subjects in high school and led costume courses. Mia also runs Mia’s Costume Warehouse, renting out costumes in Stavanger. She graduated as a costume designer from the Oslo National Academy of the Arts (KHIO) in 2006 and has extensive experience with costumes for film, theater, exhibitions, and events.
