Stavanger Art Museum is temporarily closed due to leaks, but our art mediators/educators are happy to visit you!

The museum offers companies/organizations/groups the opportunity to have an art educator come to you.

• Do you have artworks in your workplace?

• Is there a sculpture that all employees pass by in your local area?

• With a visit from an art educator, you can receive an engaging and relationship-building talk about the art in your surroundings.

How it works:

• Contact us at: formidling.kunst@museumstavanger.no
• Send an image of the artwork(s) (optionally including the artist’s name or the title of the work(s), as well as any other relevant information you may have). If the artworks at your workplace are part of Stavanger municipality’s collection, we only need to know where you work and roughly which works you would like to learn more about—we’ll take care of the rest.
• Feel free to suggest a date/time for the session.
• We will meet at the agreed time and place and offer a 30–40 minute talk about the artwork, the artist, the art-historical context, and more. The scope of the session can be adjusted in agreement with the client.
• Price available upon request.
